Write for us

We welcome thoughtful pitches about the spaces, groups, customs and connections that make up community life. A strong contribution gives readers a clear subject to follow, treats different places with care and offers useful context without claiming that one local experience speaks for all.

What to pitch

We are interested in fresh explainers, comparisons, histories and reader-friendly ways to notice shared places and community customs. Keep the idea focused: name the question, say what a general reader will understand by the end and explain why the subject suits Prime Community News. We are not looking for professional, legal, financial or official advice.

A good proposal

Tell us the working title, central idea, intended reader and a short outline of the piece. Mention the material or sources you expect to rely on, and flag anything that depends on a particular place or community. Please send original proposals in your own words; do not include private information about other people without a clear reason and permission.

How to send it

Send pitches and contribution questions through the Contact page, choosing the editorial question option and giving enough detail for us to understand the proposal. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication. Please do not send a complete article unless we have asked for it.
